Representing the oncologists of North Carolina, Peter R. Ennever, MD, has been selected by the International Association of Healthcare Professionals, IAHCP, to represent his community in their publication, The Leading Physicians of the World. In practice for over 20 years, Dr. Ennever represents the commitment, dedication, and passion for patient care needed to receive this esteemed honor. Based in Cone Health Regional Cancer Center in North Carolina, Dr. Enneverís area of specialization is in diagnosis, treatment and management of malignant tumors connected to forms of blood cancers. Over the years, Dr. Ennever and his oncology team at the Cone Health Regional Cancer Center have made great strides establishing the hospitalís status as a pioneering center in cancer treatment within the state. Such innovations include TomoTherapy among other cutting-edge medical procedures on hematologic malignancies. Other than his engagements as an oncologist, Dr. Ennever regularly organizes educational seminars on various oncological topics. Dr. Ennever received his medical degree from George Washington University in 1988 and completed his internship at the University of Pittsburgh before completing his residency training at Shadyside Hospital. He is a Fellow of Yale-New Haven Medical Center and Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
